So, on the 3rd of July we went to a fun party with some church friends, and then headed out to Kiefer for fireworks. If you are like me then you were thinking...Kiefer?? Really?? But they put on a great show! Unfortunately we didn't get to stay for the whole thing because they decided not to start the show until 10 pm....geez!!!! But Grayson did so great. And a side note...this is when he really started WALKING!!!! I think he saw all the big kids doing it, had enough of just "cruising" and took off! It is so much fun but things are different from now on :).
On the actual 4th our family came over for a cookout, and then that night we headed to a friends for any early dinner. After being out so late the night before fireworks didn't happen (unless you count the ones on tv!?) but it was fun anyway! Hope you had a great 4th with family and friends!
Last year on the 4th Grayson was 6 days old! His first holiday.
Things have changed a bit since then!
